Nestled in the heart of the Riverbend , Mother of Pearl is a family-owned restaurant offering contemporary comfort food. The dream of New Orleans-native chef, Walker Geoffray, Mother of Pearl focuses on Southern ingredients, presented in an interesting and thoughtful way. A succinct, rotating menu of inspired dishes are complimented by classic cocktails and an evolving wine list. 

Walker Geoffray is also the Executive Chef and Co-Owner of Black Pearl CAtering Co., along with his wife Katie. He began his culinary journey eight years prior to opening Black Pearl Catering Co., which was established in 2017. He believes that food is a communal experience and that each dish whether simplistic or complex deserves to be awe-inspiring.
